Selling my much loved VW T3 camper which I have had for 15 years. It's a 1.6 turbo diesel with manual 5 speed gearbox.
The van is excellent mechanically, having had a new cylinder head, camshaft and belts 2 years ago and a rebuilt gearbox / transmission from VW Heritage before that. It runs on 15" Mercedes C class wheels which help it drive much better. The tyres are hardly worn. It really is jump in and drive anywhere!

It comes with a drive away side awning and another smaller just a roof awning, both in good condition.
Now the bad bit. The MOT runs out on 14th May 2024. It needs welding underneath at the rear for a new MOT. There is some rust where the rear arches join the side panels and some near the fuel filler.
Selling for spares or repair as an MOT failure with no warranty on anything. It would be a great shame to see it broken up when, with a bit of work, it would be a lovely camper again.

On 23-Apr-24 at 18:29:07 BST, seller added the following information:The local garage told me it needs welding on both sides around the rear axle area. I haven't seen the problem myself and don't have any more detail. My wife has back problems and needs something more modern and comfortable to travel anywhere, so I decided to move on to another van. I don't know anyone round here who does this type of welding work and haven't had any quotes, so drove the van back from the garage and parked it up!
