Beeindruckende und große Schmuckkartusche mit der Ansicht von St. Petersburg oben links, Meilenanzeiger- und Legendenkartusche unten links sowie allegorische Titelkartusche mit Figurenstaffage rechts unten. Schönes und dezentes Flächenkolorit.

ZUSTAND

In sehr guter Erhaltung. Kräftiger Druck, festes Papier. Schönes Altkolorit. Üblicher Mittelfalz. Etwas lichtrandig in den Außenrändern. Unterer Rand mit kleiner Ausrissstelle.

Attractive old coloured copper engraving map of the historical, former Swedish province of Ingermanland with the region of St. Petersburg and the Gulf of Finland.
Impressive and large decorative cartouche with view of St. Petersburg upper left, mileage indicator and legend cartouche lower left and allegorical title cartouche with figural staffage lower right. Beautiful and subtle surface colouring.

MEASUREMENTS
Leaf: 64 x 54 cm; plate: 58 x 49 cm

CONDITION
In very good condition. Strong impression, firm paper. Beautiful old colouring. Usual centrefold. Some light staining in the outer margins. Lower margin with small tear.
