1893 Chicago World’s Fair WOVEN SILK HANDKERCHIEF * MACHINERY HALL & Envelope

I am selling a large collection of Columbian Exposition items so please watch my auctions every week. This auction is for a very nice woven silk handkerchief from the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. The pinkish-peach colored kerchief has a highly detailed image of Machinery Hall in the center. The dimensions are approximately 19 ¾” x 20” and the condition is Near Mint to Mint with old folds. The handkerchief was stored in an envelope (possibly original) from the Phoenix Silk Manufacturing Co which shows their location by Column O49 in Machinery Hall. The 3 ¾” x 6 ¾” envelope is in VG condition with wear & soiling. Please look at all the photos and ask any questions. See my other auctions. Combined shipping is available to save postage.
