Diaplan was Leitz's standard laboratory microscope introduced in 1985. With its quality German optics, it stands eye-to-eye with modern microscopes. It boasts a modular design that permits standard brightfield microscopy and can also be fitted out for fluorescence microscopy

This well-preserved unit comes with a working light box that supplied a powerful white beam. It is equipped with 10x Leitz eyepieces and three compatible Leitz objectives. One objective (2.5 PL) is not compatible and provided as a free gift.

As a trinocular microscope, it allows easy attachment of a camera for photography. The microscope construction is very sturdy with a wide base, making it perfect for microphotography.

This well-preserved unit has been fully serviced and cleaned by me. It shows surface signs of its age, which do not affect its functionality. All optics are in perfect condition, and all moving parts operate smoothly. The knobs turn smoothly and regulate the light level.

It works like new.
