Stunning 1900s Hand-painted KPM Porcelain Plaque Young Boy w Monkey Companion

This is a extremely well executed hand-painted KPM plaque that is worthy of being signed by a noted artist but no signature found. The plaque is oval with low dome top. This has a depiction of a road side scene of a young boy dressed in rural 19th century period clothing sitting on a kerbstone with an elbow leaning on a travel box. He looks deep in thought and slightly melancholy as if he has runaway. Seated next to him is a small monkey dressed in a striped jacket appearing to be patiently waiting for his owner’s next decision.

The rear has the impressed sceptre mark and initials of KPM for Konigliche Porzellan Manufacktur, found on plaques made during the 1850s through 1890s. It has some pencil notations that may be framer’s notes.
