An original World War Two letter including the cover that was written by Lieutenant Eugene Valic who was in the 255th Infantry. It is dated 1945 France. Some of his writing is hard to read. In one area it looks like he says,...........German equipment knocked out during the "Battle for France" line the ditches of highways and country roads........Some of the localities have heavily suffered from bombs and shell fire.........................................           The cover has the send to address of  Niagara Falls New York.

The letter and cover have some wear and stain marks.
