An original World War Two letter including the cover that was written by Lieutenant Eugene Valic who was in the 255th Infantry. It is dated 1945 Bavarian Germany. Some of his writing is hard to read. In one area it looks like he says,............The enemy is in wild and disorganized retreat. General Patton has penetrated deep into Nasi land. Organized enemy resistance has collapsed east of the Rhine river.............Thank God the war is nearly over....................................           The cover has the send to address of  Niagara Falls New York.
