 Comments:

The Olympus MJU ii is one of the staple point n shoot cameras. Its ranked up there with other greats such as the Yashica T4. However, unlike the T4 it comes at a much more affordable price, T4 = £325 upwards.

The MJU ii is renowned for its incredibly sharp fixed f/2.8 Zeiss lens with a 35mm focal length and a four-element composition. Far superior to the MJU i’s three element lens.

The flash is fantastic—with the night mode being able to illuminate the subject in the foreground and maintain colours of the background to bring night scenes to life.

Its autofocus ability means either an experienced or amateur user can take the perfect photos. Furthermore, the DX code automatic reader means there’s no need to fiddle or worry about setting the wrong iso and messing up your exposure. Although, you can use a helpful “hack” to change your film’s DX code to change the iso, if you buy the camera I’ll be more than happy to let you know how that works.

Finally it’s a great compact lightweight point and shoot camera for both street photograph and landscape/wildlife photography.
