This laptop belonged to my nan, it never left the table in her living room and was only used for necessities - online banking, online shopping, and emails. She has since upgraded to an iPad and no longer uses the laptop at all.

Since I've taken it off of her, I've swapped out the awful 5400rpm HDD for a brand-new (see the CrystalDiskInfo photo, <10hrs on time) 240GB Crucial brand SSD and provided a clean up-to-date install of Windows 10 Home. I have installed a couple of programs since to inspect the condition of the PC, but these programs can be removed before posting if desired.

I've also doubled the RAM (SK Hynix brand) from 4GB to 8GB, and replaced the optical drive (reads and writes CDs and DVDs) since the original would not eject with the button. It also comes with a free copy of Disney Pixar's Cars since this was still in the replacement optical drive.

Comes with the original Dell 45W power brick/charger and UK plug cable.

The battery is in nearly-new condition (only 6% wear) so it should give a very good running time on battery power alone. The keyboard, lid, and palmrest are also nearly brand new, with no visible wear or scratches as shown in the photos. No damage to the screen.

This PC would be perfect as a media PC due to the good screen size and optical drive, or could be useful for making backups of CD collections. It can handle the basics like web browsing and should be able to handle Microsoft Office just fine, but don't expect to be doing CAD or video editing work with it. It could be a good option to just keep around as a spare/second laptop. Regardless, it should give you many years of reliable service due to its incredibly low usage over the years.

It's not often I get to say this, but there genuinely isn't another one in this condition at this price on ebay.
