1862 $2 The Bank of the State of South Carolina note from Charleston, SC.

This note was likely printed in the 1820's or 30's. Unused notes that were held in reserve were pressed into circulation when supplies ran low during the Civil War. 

This note features an eagle Vignette at the center. Franklin is on the left panel and Washington is on the right.

This note grades Very Fine+ with 2 circle-cut cancellations and some pinholes.
