Description: A stunning very heavy English antique solid sterling silver double Albert pocket watch chain in superb clean condition and with English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1912. Beautiful quality and all original and matching with nice big chunky silver chain links and with a silver t-bar and 2 secure silver swivel/dog catches. Attached on the fob chain is a handsome antique double-sided solid silver & rose gold pierced medal and it weighs an extra heavy approx 108 grams, (total). Fabulous watch chain, looks very little used.

Measurements: Great length, measures approx 17 inches (431mm) in length, (end to end) with a further 1 inches on the fob chain. Will go around the neck if wanted.

Date: English antique solid sterling silver with English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1912, (date letter "n") on the t-bar and on both swivel/dog catches, so definitely all matching and there are clear lion passant silver hallmarks on all of the chain links. The silversmiths initials are "H.A & S" (Henry Allday & Son - 1883 - 1913). The attached silver & gold medal is English silver hallmarked Birmingham 1909. 

Condition Superb clean condition with no splits or repairs and with hardly any wear on the chain links, a beautiful very heavy silver watch chain, looks only little used and one of the nicest I have had for a while. All original with both swivel/dog catches working perfectly and closing securely and the attached silver medal is in great condition, small historic monogram in one cartouche. Very fine example.
