This was an amp Hughes and Kettner made in their golden era of making better equipment (when Thomas Blug was still there). It's essentially what would happen if you made a Class A Plexi style amp with a variable tone stack. The result is arguably one of the most touch sensitive amps on the planet, quite similar to the Trainwrecks I've played. It has a huge, super chimey, aggressive gain structure that definitely isn't for the faint of heart.

40w in 8 ohms or 25w in 16 ohms with a variable power switch on top, 1x12 combo (not really heavy but not the lightest, it's got some beefy transformers).

Celestion V30 loaded 1x12.

From Musician's Friend:

No frills, but plenty of thrills with this single-channel 25W head. It delivers the most primal, pure, and potent sonic experience an advanced player could hope for. The 3-band voicing section can be faded out smoothly. Class A power amp section with 2 EL 34s. Dual-stage switchable dummy load.

Also, I don't sell through eBay too much but I have tons of five star feedback on Reverb if you're interested!

All orders ship within 48 hours, because of the weight of this amp I would recommend local pickup.
