1st ad has 5 photos of the different body styles (more accurately, the roof styles). Ad text starts “Which one’s the Scout” and goes on about the car.
2nd ad has a photo of a yellow hard-top Scout. A man is leaning on the driver’s side door. Ad text starts “We’ll bring a brand new Scout right to your door” and goes on about your dealer bringing the car to you for a test drive.
3rd ad has a photo of the International Harvester Scout on a rocky mountain road. Ad text starts “The rugged Scout is so different we need a whole booklet to tell you about it” and goes on about the car. There is a coupon for that booklet too.
4th ad has a 2 photos of a blue hard-top Scout. The larger one shows the car with roof on, parked in the suburbs. A businessman is sitting sideways on the front seat. The smaller photo shows the car (with roof off) on a dirt road. Ad text starts “Wouldn’t you rather play hooky today and take your Scout on a holiday” and goes on about the car.
5th ad has a 2 photos of a yellow soft-top Scout. The larger one shows the car on a golf course. The smaller photo shows the hood of the car at a construction site. Ad text starts “Once you’ve taken it out for fun you may forget you bought it for work” and goes on about the car.
The ads are full page, each approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from 1964 magazines.
