TRULY HARD TO FIND  Heisey Zodiac 13" footed cake plate and footed  11" centerpiece bowl. These were produced from 1969  to 1971 . Very short time!

These two pieces have been stored away and are in excellent condition. Due to the owner passing, it's time for another to enjoy the beauty of them. They look lovely together! Both have Imperial IG mark. Center bears an image of Jupiter with a Charioteer. Very intricate detailing on every surface of bowl. The trim is amazing. The bowl has a lovely scrolled foot base.

History ~ Clarence Heisey commissioned Horace King to design a 12-sided plate with all of the signs of the zodiac. It took many weeks to sketch the design and make it simple enough that the die cutter could create the pattern for glass. Initially, a plastic cast was made many time larger than the ultimate plate produced.

Height of footed bowl is four inches and width is 11 inches. The platter/serving tray is 1 inch high and 13 inches wide.
