Zena Dare (born Florence Harriette Zena Dones, 4
February 1887 – 11 March 1975) was an English singer and actress who was famous
for her performances in Edwardian Musical comedy, other musical theatre and
comedic plays in the first half of the 20th century. She retired in 1911 and
nursed soldiers in France during WW1. Dare returned to the stage in 1926 and
made a successful transition to "talkies" She died in London in 1975
at the age of 87.
