These Channellock 407 pliers have survived the years in good working condition.
The surface has darkened and discolored with age and use, and there is light pitting in places.
These have the "Champion DeArment Meadville, Pa" stamp, and a patent date stamp in fine letters and numbers on one handle.
Mechanically, these pliers have sustained very little wear. The jaw teeth are distinct and sharp, and the slip joint is smooth and tight.

This is a well-designed high-quality tool in remarkably good condition, ready for many more years of use.
