Offered for your consideration is this Antique Elegant King George III Era (1760-1820) Flame Ribbon Mahogany Bombay Claw Foot Drop Front Ladies Desk with Full Interior, Lower Bombay Drawer & Original Locking Key. The 2 smaller interior drawers and lower Bombay are constructed of French dovetailing. This sleek & stately desk is authentic & in amazing condition for its age. There are a few very small areas of veneer missing but in rather inconspicuous spots (see photos 6&11 for a visual) & it appears there has been a professional repair to the back top right area. It has its original solid brass hardware lock covers & handles. It came with the tassel attached to the key & we left it as it came in.  It measures approx. 25-1/2" wide (with the claw feet base it is 27" wide) x 43-1/4" tall x 15" deep. This fabulous desk makes a statement all on its own....simply outstanding remarkable piece of history!
