c.1819 Department De Loir-et-Cher, France, Antique Card Map by Bourrut-Le Meri 1st Ed. V Rare.

The hand colouring on these maps I would say is probably original or certainly very early.

FROM:  Analise géographique des departements de la France. Paris, (c.1819).

Bourrut-Le Meri was a Paris author and published of playing & educational cards. There were 3 editions published between c.1819 (1st) c.1830 (2nd) and c.1836 (3rd). This card being from the rare 1st edition. 

This map is part of an incomplete set. Hence the sale.

CONDITION - For playing cards of their age I would describe as fair. As with all old maps/prints there may be imperfections including but not limited to "age toning, stains, spots, creases, small holes, hand writing, folds, trimmed edges, tears, etc...... I have shown a very detailed scan of both sides of the card so that any imperfections can easily be seen....Please study the large scanned images for all details.. Thank you.
