I just love the designs on these steins. It gives a nice pub feel that a lot of people are looking for when they want to drink. You can drink whatever you want from it, not just beer. I can see this being helpful in the Summer to keep the flies and any other bugs out of your drink. It's not air tight, but it would still help deter things from landing in your drink. I would recommend hand washing this stein as I don't believe it's dishwasher safe. It's definitely not microwave safe with the metal lid.
