NORMAN ACKROYD Abstract Landscape

A large and very rare etching with aquatint by Norman Ackroyd which we cannot find anywhere else, hence do not know the title.

A very small edition size of just 18, numbered 16/18, signed in pencil, dated 73. An unusual composition for the artist, as on the landscape are blocks of letters in a random arrangement, never seen anything like this in his works before now!

Measurements: 57x 65.5cm plate size

Ackroyd did a number of abstract landscape works in the 70s.

Condition: Unframed, no signs of previous framing, in excellent clean condition.
