Artist's Biography:

Herman Kvasnica (born Weinberger) (1905, Vylok, Austria - Hungary - 1979, Bratislava, Slovakia) was an architect and painter.

He studied architecture at the German Technical College in Prague.
Employee of the railway design office, since 1945 architect of the ČSD in Bratislava.
Author of projects for railway station buildings and residential buildings for railway employees.
Author of the competition proposal for the sports stadium in Banská Bystrica.
He exhibited in Banská Bystrica (Slovakia). He also devoted himself to landscape painting.
 


Herman Kvasnica (pôv. Weinberger) (* 14. február 1905, Vylok – † 29. august 1979, Bratislava) bol architekt a maliar.

Životopis

Študoval architektúru na Nemeckej vysokej škole technickej v Prahe. Pracovník projekčnej kancelárie železníc, od roku 1945 architekt ČSD v Bratislave. Autor projektov železničných staničných budov a obytných budov pre železničných zamestnancov. Autor súťažného návrhu na športový štadión v Banskej Bystrici. Vystavoval v Banskej Bystrici. Venoval sa aj krajinomaľbe.
