The We Were Rad BMX book is an absolute beast of a book covering the history of UK BMX throughout the 1980’s. The book includes over 12,000 images submitted by over 400 contributors as well as over 100,000 words from many of the top riders of the times including Craig Schofield, Tom Lynch, Pete Middleton, Craig Campbell, Andy Ruffell, Geoff Barraclough, Geth Shooter, Dylan Clayton and many many more. The book profiles many of the key BMX shops and distributors of the time including Alans BMX, Edwardes, Shiner, Sussex BMX and many more. 

This is the story of UK BMX in the 80s as told by the people who lived and loved it!

With photos from the 70s and 80s and the period of old school BMX and mid school BMX when it was just known as BMX!! Coming in at a whopping 450 pages with printed endpapers and weighing around 2.5kg!!  

The book was lovingly put together by Andrew Rigby, Clive Pilkington, and Antony Frascina over a period of 4 years and is a must have for anyone who rode BMX during this time period.
