Charming Collectable Pewter Spoon, very high quality by A E Williams, 11 cm long with a detailed model of a girl picking fruit from a tree.


A E Williams have been making fine English pewter since 1779, they are member of the Worshipful Company of Pewterers. This is one of a series of finely made spoons. Beautiful quality and weight (32 g) It shows a wicker basket of fruit (bananas, grapes and apples) The spoon is decorated with a bow and flowers and the bowl of the spoon has the mark of A E Williams - A E W in a shield.


The spoons has a tiny rub mark on the base of the spoon where it has rubbed against the cardboard box. It comes in a very nice navy blue card gift box and is wrapped in acid free tissue. From a non-smoking home. The photographs are a comprehensive record of its condition and form part ofthe description.
