Description A superb English antique solid sterling silver double Albert pocket watch chain in excellent clean condition and with English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1922. Lovely quality and all original and matching, with a silver t-bar and 2 secure silver swivel/dog catches and attached on the fob chain is a nice genuine antique 1902 solid silver King Edward VII Royal Coronation medal. It weighs approx 44 grams, (total). Great chain, looks only little used.

Measurements Measures approx 14.75 inches (374mm) in length, (end to end) with an extra 0.75 inches on the fob chain.

Date English antique solid sterling silver with English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1922, (date letter "x") on the t-bar and on both silver swivel/dog catches, so definitely all matching and there are clear lion passant silver hallmarks on all of the chain links. The silversmiths initials on the bar and catches are "W.W.C" (William Walter Cashmore - 1889 - 1938); the attached 1902 Royal Coronation medal is also antique and is guaranteed solid sterling silver. 

Condition Excellent clean condition with no splits or solder repairs and with only very minor wear on the chain links, a lovely all original genuine antique example and the 2 silver swivel/dog catches still work perfectly and open and close securely. Beautiful silver double Albert chain and with a good heavy weight.
