2: Cabinet Cond Signed 1960s Royal Worcester Sml Squat Baluster Vase w H/P Roses

 

A truly beautiful vase from arguably one of England’s finest porcelain/china manufacturers, Royal Worcester. It is a round squat baluster shape with low foot rim, curved wall and a short-stretched neck with gilded opening. The vase is beautifully hand painted with English cabinet roses coming into full bloom on a cream-coloured ground.

 

 It is the work is hand signed “MHunt” in neat script. It is understamped with the black printed Royal Worcester mark with an “R” with a circle and “ENGLAND” below; no reference found but believed to be made in the 1960s.

The vase is in excellent pristine cabinet condition with no damage or faults to report, no chips, cracks, some unseen micro crazing (visible with magnifier). Please refer to photos as they form part of the condition description.

 

Measures: H7.56cm x 10.4cm maximum diameter; 184g.
