Scarce 1950s Christophe Widmann German Silver Hildesheim Rose Crystal Ice Bucket
Most likely dating to the 1950s this is a crystal
ice bucket with German 830 silver fittings and a swing handle. These are
decorated with the Hildesheim Rose pattern created by Christophe Widmann. The silver
is marked with an 835 stamp for its silver purity and the initials of “C” encircling
a “W” for Christophe Widmann, Pforzheim. The crystal Is engraved with a rococo
design of two panels with a dot and trellis pattern that are separated by three
secondary scroll shapes. It comes complete with its original glass ice drainer.
