Mouse worked when I plugged in

Was just tested for general every day use. I don’t know if there’s any thing specific in terms of gaming that I should’ve looked out for, but seems like it works fine

The USB cable has been taped

perhaps the previous owners cat chewed on it or something? I don’t know the history of the mouse.
