ONLY 500 of these 4cm f/3.5 lenses were ever made in Exakta mount. Compact 4cm f/3.5 lens with heavy duty build. Classic style rare Olympus lens to fit the Exakta series of slr cameras like the Exa, Exakta VX, Exakta VX II, VX1000 ect. This lens can also be used on most mirrorless digital cameras like the Canon R, Fuji X-Pro 2, Olympus Om-D. Nikon Z, Panasonic G9, GH-5, ect. with the proper adapter. This lens is in Mint- or 9 of 10 cosmetic condition. No dings or dents. Very clean lens barrel with little sign of use. 39mm filter size. Close focusing down to 3'. Distance scale marked in feet. Aperture range from f/3.5 to f/16. Fairly clean optics in this vintage lens. Some coating marks on the center of the rear element which protrudes out of the back of the lens. Some small dust spots inside that can be seen with a flashlight only. These small dust spots will have no affect on your images. Smooth lens focusing. Smooth working manual lens aperture. Good optics for this RARE vintage Olympus lens. This lens should produce nice contrasty images with good color. Includes original Olympus leather lens case & front lens cap , and after market metal rear lens cap.
