Very unusual Vintage Avia Mens Watch. The watch is mechanical or wind up.

The watch is gold plated and marked as such.

The watch is rectangular in shape. The dial is cream in colour. The hands, numerals and baton indices are gold in colour. The watch has a seconds hand. 'Avia' appears on the watch face in black italics.

The watch has a stainless steel back, it is Swiss Made and the numbers 3455 1 appear on the caseback.

The watch movement is marked Swiss Made and 15 Jewels. I believe that this watch was made in the 1950's.

The bracelet of the watch is expandable. The bracelet is made of Stainless Steel and Rolled Gold. The bracelet is marked Fixoflex, Made in Germany, Rolled Gold, D PAT896575.

The watch is fully working and keeps good time.

The watch is in fair condition considering it's age. The acrylic glass of the watch has scratches and is dirty. The watch case has scratches and marks from use. The bracelet of the watch is showing discoloration it would benefit from a clean.

The watch is an unusual shape being rectangular. It also has a beautiful convex acrylic crystal.
