Letter Napoleon Bonaparte. This letter is written by Napoleon and signed by his wife, Marie Louise.

It's addressed to his cousin to inform the cousin about the good arrival the emperor had in Chalon sur Saone.

Although the letter was signed by his wife, the handwriting clearly shows that Napoleon wrote the letter himself. To make this clear, I have added 2 photos of a letter from Napoleon that can be found in the presidential library of Saint Petersburg. The handwriting is identical. Especially the closing sentence '... en sa sainte et digne garde.' You can visit the website here: https://www.prlib.ru/en/node/357502

Napoleon prescribed the letter and asked his wife to sign and send it. The letter was once sold by Andreas Wiemer, as written by Marie Louise. But the good observer knows better.

This letter is so special because both Napoleon's handwriting and that of his wife are on it. As far as we know, this is only the case with their marriage certificate.
