The Ernst-Perry Estate is an accumulated Multi-Generational Estate that was recently inherited in December of 2021. My husband and I spent over 4 1/2 months clearing out his childhood home with the vast majority of personal and household items being donated.

However, we did keep for sale a unique selection of items including Color Slides from the 1930s-1970’s, Coins, Ephemera, Clothing, Porcelain, Modern & Sports Collectibles and more! My husband’s mom was a stylish and elegant woman with an extensive Costume Jewelry collection encompassing over a thousand pieces, which date from the late 1800’s into the1980’s.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Vintage Lot of 13 Camera Lense Filters including a Brochure Guide to Using Filters. I believe these filters are from the 1960s to 1970s. This Lot has a nice variety of Color, Close-up and Special Effects Filters.

Filters are from Spiratone, Prinz, Tiffen & Hoya. Also included is a Brochure for Osawa Filters which has some great information on how to use specialty filters. All the Filters have what I believe to be their original storage cases/boxes.

Also included is a round “Mirrored” piece in a case. I have no clue what it is for. It does not have a metal ring to attach to a Camera Lense, but it was with the filters, so I put it in the lot.

Please note that I really know nothing about this equipment and am only going by the information that is physically found on the items. Please make your own determination of age by the photos provided.

These Filters along with all the other Cameras & Developing Equipment/Accessories that we will be listing in the next few weeks belonged to my husband’s uncle. A real estate developer by trade and an Avid Amateur Photographer in his spare time. We found 1000’s of Photos and Slides that date back to the 1950s through late 1980s / early 1990s that were the product of his love of photography.

Filters are in AS FOUND condition and have not been cleaned. You can expect dirt and grime. These filters are preowned and well loved, so it is possible that there are some scratches to the glass and/or dings on the filter rings, however I did not notice any obvious damage. The HOYA plastic storage case that the UV(0) filter is a PULL OFF (the others screw on/off) and it is Very Hard to get On/Off. The Mirror Round’s storage case has old tape on it as shown in the photos.

Of Note: The brochure is slightly longer than the Small Flat Rate box so it is curved (not folded) to fit in the box.
