The Ironside post mount mailbox excels in durability and strength. Engineered with thick gauge, heavy-duty galvanized steel for maximum fortitude, it is impact resistant and virtually indestructible. A smooth, powder-coated finish adds shine and fights against rust and other weathering. The door is fastened securely by sturdy piano hinges and features a magnetic latch closure for optimal performance. This large mailbox offers space to easily handle high volumes of mail along with padded envelopes and small packages. Pre-drilled hole patterns on the sides and bottom offer multiple installation points. Mounting hardware is sold separately.

EASY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Option 1

For use with Architectural Mailboxes easy install post letter A

Align the mailbox mounting holes with the holes in the mounting plate. Attach the mailbox to the mounting plate using the hardware included with the Architectural Mailboxes post or adapter.

Option 2

For use with non-Architectural Mailboxes posts

Identify if your existing post or mounting surface has a matching hole pattern with the mailbox. If there are no matching hole patterns, you will need an adapter plate or piece of wood to drill the mounting holes into. Architectural Mailboxes does not recommend drilling new holes in the mailbox, as that will expose untreated metal. The predrilled holes come with #10-24 x 3/4" screws to mount with your mailbox.
