Antique Circa 1920’s metal screw cased LNER (London North East Railway) DF&C Swiss lever pocket watch in good working order. The dial is white enamel with black Roman numerals and blued steel hands with sub-dial and marked Selex Swiss Made. The 15 jewelled movement has an Swiss lever escapement with ruby jewelled end-stone clean with a good strong tick keeping good time and marked 15 Jewels Swiss made DF&C. It is button wind and set. The back cover is marked to the inside Swiss Made with the number 3689010, and to the outside LNER with the number 3938. The case is clean and bright and has pocket wear as to its age with all the covers screwing down nice and tight. The dial and dial lens are clean and clear and free from any chips or cracks apart from a faint hairline to its dial. It Measures a big chunky 56mm excluding crown.
