This watch movement is a private label made for “CHAS. GLATZ NEW YORK”. This is on the Asa Fuller movement frame but has the original nickel barrel bridge marked extra jeweler. This is 100 percent original. This is not a replaced barrel bridge. This is the original nickel barrel bridge that was on the watch originally. This watch was number 8 made in a run of 12 private label movements. The movement number is 36096. The movement is complete with original hands, good sub second hand, genuine factory single sunk signed enamel dial and good clean key wind and key set signed gilt movement with the butterfly cut out. This is a fine example of this variation made by the United States Watch company Marion New Jersey. This is a very interested documented example of an early 1869 U. S. Watch Co. Marion New Jersey movement. This is for the serious American collector, dealer and repair person. This movement can be easily recased into your quality key wind silver case.
