Up for bid is a Trick Or Treat Studios Halloween 2018 H40 "Stunt" mask. Ive recently changed up the way I paint these masks (mainly in the weathering). This mask has also been completely stripped of the stock paint,before repainting.
Ive also changed up the way I photograph them to better capture how the mask actually looks,with lighting from above and below. I also took an outdoor shot,to show how different lighting can change up the look of the mask.
Another thing Ive changed is how I hair the masks. I now use all crepe hair for the first two frontal hairline rows,as well as crepe hair mixed throughout the head,along with icelandic sheep hair.The sheep hair gives the hair a nice full look,while the crepe gives it that unique textured look seen on the screen used masks. I also want to thank some of my friends in the community for tip on hairing.
This is a very high quality mask,based off the Stunt version of the film masks.The Stunt mask varied quite a bit from the "Hero" mask as far as the paint scheme. The Stunt version also sported the velcro on the neck to hold it in place while filming. Alot of time was spent getting the
paint shades and line detail correct.
The
mask has been completely rehaired with crepe hair & Icelandic sheep hair.Mask has also been professionally repainted with Mabry Monsters
"Nightshades" latex paint (same paint they used to paint the screen used masks) and
then sealed with a clear flexible sealant.So paint will last without fading,cracking,etc...
Neck has also been trimmed to match the film used mask As
most of you know,these Trick Or Treat Studios masks were made directly
from the screen used molds.Keep in mind,because these are molded from
the screen used mask,these masks were made to fit the actor in the
film.Thus they are smaller than some masks,like the tots H2 or H1..So
if you have a 23.5" head or larger, this may not fit you well.Also due
to the times were living in,I do NOT accept returns or refunds for
masks!
