Scarce 1950's German Gama

This scarce US Army wind up tank dates from the early 1950's and is complete and in working condition. Measuring approximately 3 1/2" long, this tin lithograph wind up tank shows some minor play wear but is a nice looking example with bright graphics and colors. The treads are in good shape and everything is intact and working, and it includes the wind up key. The wind up motor is strong and works well. The flint needs to be replaced for the "sparking gun" to work, but it seems to function correctly. It doesn't have a makers mark but is marked "Made In US Zone Germany" on the back. This vintage German tin wind up toy is believed to be a Gama tank, but we might be wrong, it certainly looks like the type of tanks they made in Germany after WW2. If so, it may have the wrong treads as most we have seen are white not black. We couldn't be sure as we couldn't find this tank anywhere online! Offered as found, this would make a great addition to any vintage toy collection!
