Please see images and read condition description

I travel often, I have a 5 business day shipping handling time between purchase and shipping. Please keep in mind when purchasing. I do not make money on shipping so items are well packed and that may include extra weight. I ship small items strictly by Priority Mail US. Larger heavier items may be shipped via Fed Ex]UPS Ground.

Gorgeous pair of 19th c Jacob Petit Paris hard paste porcelain potpourri lidded urns. Incredible design and colors, pierced for allowing the potpourri to waft through a room, these containers are in wonderful condition for their age.

Jacob Mardochee who founded the company, began as a painter at Sevres and then opened his factory in Fontainbleau in 1830. He designed many pieces and was known for his Rococo-inspired porcelain designs. Most are marked, many of his pieces are not.

The measurements are 7 7/8" at its highest with lid on and 4.75" at its widest on the rim. Both pieces weigh 3 lbs 9 oz before packing.

Some wear & losses to gold trim and a couple of minor hairlines that you can see inside, also a spider line on bottom of one, but you cannot see it inside. A small nick on one lid corner (see photos). Again, love the colors! Signed on bottom of each urn. **The same pot that has the spider line on bottom also has one foot chipped with a small missing area. I have loaded a photo showing this.

Items I sell are not new. They have been used so do not expect mint condition unless otherwise noted. Measurements are approximate and may not be totally exact. Keep this in mind when bidding.
