You are looking at a CK Modelcars and Paddock Legends exclusive of the 1:43 Mercedes F1 W12 E Performance diecast model of 2025 Ferrari driver, Seven-Time Formula 1 World Champion and record-breaking all-time race winner Sir Lewis Hamilton - made by resin and diecast German model manufacturer Minichamps (Product Code: 413 211544).

The 2021 Russian Grand Prix in Sochi would become the last Grand Prix for the foreseeable future to be held in the country, after Russia's military invasion on neighbouring country Ukraine took place in February 2022.  It would also be the venue for one of F1's topsy turvy races in which a number of drivers at one stage or another had a shot at victory.  Sir Lewis Hamilton went into the weekend knowing a win would take him back into the championship lead, and started from fourth place (behind an unusual line up of poleman Lando Norris in the McLaren, Ferrari's Carlos Sainz and the Williams of the overperforming George Russell, now Hamilton's Mercedes teammate), while title rival and championship leader Max Verstappen started P20 and last as a result of engine related grid penalties.

Hamilton kept his nose clean throughout the race, and consistently ran in second place behind Norris's McLaren, before rain started to fall with only a handful of laps remaining.  Norris stayed out believing his dry tyres would hold out, while Sir Lewis made the crucial decision to pit for intermediate tyres on lap 50.  He rejoined 25 seconds behind, but that gap rapidly reduced to just two seconds on the next lap before Norris spun on his dries at Turn 5, handing Hamilton both the lead and the eventual victory.  Although Verstappen engineered a miraculous recovery drive to second place, Hamilton retook the championship points lead from the Dutchman.  In winning the Russian Grand Prix, Hamilton also became the first driver in Formula 1 history to net 100 career victories, nine more than Michael Schumacher's tally of 91 wins, which Hamilton had broke the previous season in 2020.

On 1st February 2025, it was confirmed Sir Lewis would be leaving the Mercedes team at the end of this upcoming season, to join Ferrari for 2025.

The model features the Mercedes F1 W12 E Performance car that Sir Lewis raced with to claim his landmark 100th win at the 2021 Russian Grand Prix.  It features the model of Hamilton's car, with a pitboard of "LEWIS P1 - LH100" used by the team at the chequered flag to celebrate the Englishman's achievement.  It is a CK Modelcars and Paddock Legends edition exclusive to both German model retailers and is a limited edition of 555 pieces worldwide.

The model and box are both in new condition and comes with a cellophane sleeve.
