It is bound in full dark brown leather fine binding with brass closure clasp and edging. Beautiful embossed gilt decoration to covers and spine, and the spine has five raised bands. The page fore edges are gilt edged.
Dimensions of 5" x 3.5" x 1.5" thick, and it weighs 350g unpacked.


light and minor shelf wear to some parts of the extremities (edges, raised bands) - age toning to a small amount of pages - occasional and trivial foxing here and there.
The book is otherwise in very good condition - the gilt decoration is still bright, prominent and un-faded - both covers are secure with no splitting or weakness to inner or outer hinges - text block is tight and solid.
