Overall description of the Brownie Reflex

The Brownie Reflex was a rollfilm tourist camera introduced May 1940 (1946 In The UK). Twin lens reflex designs were very popular in this timeframe, with the Rolleiflex (a professional camera) being king of that format. The synchro model replaced the “nonsynchro” model in September of 1941, just before the US entered WWII. Production continued until May 1951.
