This is an original WW1 Cap Badge of the 22nd Reinforcements of the New Zealand Armed Forces with RD 887 marking on front (Registered Design) I think. It is made from brass/gilded metal and is in good condition with hexagonal holding lugs undamaged and intact. Measures 48mm high.
