VTG NEW ENGLAND CLOCK CO Mantel Clock Hermle No.351-030A Westminster Chime Movement. Estate find, as found. When I brought this clock in, all 3 arbors were wound tight. I could not get it to work. I spent several days restarting the pendulum OVER and OVER again. It would run 5 mins and stop. After a couple days, it began to run! It has ran for 48 hours straight with out stopping. In 48 hours it did loose about 5 mins in time. So it runs a little slow. The chimes run slow, the Westminster does play slow, the hour count goes a bit faster. I am not a clock expert, however I believe it was just overwound and needs to play out. I am guessing it also needs oiled, and possibly cleaned. The case is in very Good vintage condition, one rub spot in the finish at door knob. The movement is bright and shiny, with pendulum and key. Also original instructions are included. As found, working as described after days of simple just RESTARTING the pendulum. Not a clock expert, Please see all pictures, and video for best description. Thank you!
