Vintage Amesbury Indians Football Jersey. The Massachusetts town of Amesbury, the town’s High School football team “The Fighting Indians” was named after the historically known tribes that occupied the Merrimack Valley and the surrounding area.

The team name stood for many decades, and It was the schools identity. The name has since been changed in 2022.
