The is a unusual press information kit on the new 911 Turbo, type 997.   It is a German language kit.

 

Porsche’s idea with this press kit was that the introduction of a 911 Turbo is equivalent to opening up a water dam and letting all the water rush out.  So, once you open up the dam by sliding the cover up, you are exposed to the press kit.  

 

It contains the following:

 

• ·         3-page page discussion on the new 997Turbo, now with VTG (Variable Turbo Geometry)
• ·         Six color pictures showing the new Turbo exterior and one interior picture 
• ·         Basic technical specifications included in the discussion sheets
• ·         10” x 10” Black folder with color picture of a water dam

 

 All text is in German. 

 

Condition:              Cover has tears, inside content has some wear
