This is a set of two cups and saucers from Royal Doulton, one of the largest ceramic manufacturers in the UK. (The photo shows three cups, but I only have two because I wanted them separately!)

It is an elegant design decorated with red and gold on a white background.
It is at least 40 years old. It is small, but it is an item that stands out even when displayed.
