An inshave, also known as a scorp, round shave, or croom iron, is a hand tool used for carving woodent chair seats and other curved vessels.

It generally has two wooden handles, a blade that's about 7 in long and 1-3/8 in wide, and is used to cut deep hollows for bowls. The inshave is also used to shave or dress the concave or inside faces of barrel staves. 

Clean vintage tool displaying wear consistent with age and use. Tool is extremely sharp so please beware.
