Antique c1800 Regency Portrait Miniature Watercolour Lady w Pearl Necklace

A finely painted antique Regency era miniature portrait of a young lady with a pearl necklace. The painting is expertly painted with great attention to detail, my photos just don't it justice as the glass is too reflective.

Pastel, watercolour and bodycolour on paper, laid under glass and framed in a highly ornate period frame.

Frame size 19x21cm, painting size 6.2x7.8cm.

Unsigned.

Dates ca. 1810-20s considering the fashion and hairstyle. This particular hairdo was in vogue ca. 1818-20.

Condition: there are multiple losses to the frame; the painting is in excellent condition; please refer to the photos for detail.
