For Sale:  A vintage, small, round, Noritake Trinket Collector Box, Porcelain. The Noritake box is based on the traditional Natsume container used in the ancient tea ceremony of Japan.  The color is a pale blue with rib like rings.  Measures approximately 2 inches high with lid, and 1.75 inches in diameter.  In very good, like new condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.  The bottom has the Noritake name and Japan marked in gold on the bottom.  This collector box was displayed in an enclosed glass covered table.  See photos.  

In 1982, American Express offered to their card members, a collection of miniature boxes made solely and exclusively for them.  Collectors Boxes From The World's Great Porcelain Houses, consisting of 26 distinctive, finely crafted boxes, each created by one of the world's greatest porcelain houses exclusively for this collection.  Includes boxes from:  Haviland and Bernardaud of France. Wedgwood, Royal Doulton, Royal Worcester, Crown Staffordshire and Spode of England.  Bing & Grondahl of Denmark. Ginori of Italy. Okura and Noritake of Japan. Hutschenreuther and Kaiser of Germany, Royal Tara of Ireland. Gorham and Franciscan of the United States.  Grandma, being the collector that she was, ordered the collection of all 26 collector boxes.
