Amazing dress in amazing condition. The metal zipper and tag (manufactured in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong) likely date it to the 60s.

No stains, holes, fading, or pilling. 100% cotton with no stretch. Each of the patchwork pieces has been individually stitched together.

The zipper works fine but has peeling/chipped paint.

Tag states size 12 but this is clearly not going to fit a size 12. I wear a size 10 and it appears too small for me, just upon looking. True measurements are shown in the photos. I am guessing size 6-8. Again, it has no stretch.

I believe this has been altered and hemmed to make it shorter. It looks hand-done (imperfectly when looking inside but the color blends in and it isn’t noticeable when wearing. Holding it up to myself at 5’4” it goes to my ankles. It could easily be let out 5 inches, but I’m not sure if the original hem is still intact or not.

One of the buttons is loose, but intact. They are decorative only. There are no pockets. From a nonsmoking home with 2 dogs.
