This is an original Admission price sign from the Center Theater in High Point North Carolina.... in the 1970's and  1980's I visited the High Point Furniture Market as a buyer for a furniture store.....the town was and is the center of the furniture industry and attracts wholesale buyers from around the world... During the 1980's the Center Theater was converted into a Furniture Showroom for whole sale buyers who had furniture stores.... sign measures 9 &1/2 inches wide by 5 inches high... brass metal trim at the top..sign itself is a  form of bakelite with a double plexiglass cover....very sturdy. I came across this sign during that time in the 1980's when the Center Theater at 152 South Main Street in High Point was being converted from a theater to a Furniture Showroom...theater is in the center of the town !! Have shown various photo's of the Theater to include the Marquee when Elvis was there in the 1950's and the way it looks today as the building stands as a remodeled showroom(ACME Furniture Company)..auction is for the sign only..(photo's provide background info on the theater)...as for the sign would think that they only had this one sign....would have hung in the ticket  booth...thanks for looking ! minkman
